Workspace Branding Project – Visual Etiquette Head Office

Visual Etiquette

In 1913, architect Alan Ruddle built the Grade II listed building that now houses us. To reflect our own ethos and demonstrate our expertise in interior branding, we transformed the space into a creative, functional headquarters while respecting the building’s heritage.

The brief

Our goal was to create a workspace that reflects or personality while showcasing our capabilities to clients. The building needed:

  • A stripped-back, characterful interior that retained original architectural features
  • Cost-effective solutions for furniture and fittings
  • Spaces for collaboration, socialising, and presentation of our brand values

Working within a tight timescale and budget, we aimed to combine creativity with practicality to create a workspace that would inspire both staff and visitors.

Our approach

We started by removing all the freshly laid corporate carpet tiles and magnolia chipboard wallpaper, revealing original features of the Grade II listed building. From there, our approach focused on:

  • Sourcing unique furnishings that combine style and function, including drawers made of Indonesian boat wood and vintage sofas
  • Allocating budget efficiently to prioritise custom shelving, a scaffold board bar, darts area, and radiators
  • Maintaining the balance between preserving heritage features and creating a modern, engaging workspace

The solution

Brand Space delivered a fully branded and functional office space featuring:

  • Exposed original architectural details that celebrate the building’s heritage
  • Carefully selected vintage and bespoke furniture to create characterful, practical spaces
  • Custom features such as a scaffold board bar, shelving units, and social areas
  • A combination of work, meeting, and leisure zones to reflect a creative agency environment

All elements were curated to create a workspace that tells our story, demonstrating the type of transformational office branding we provide for clients.

The result

The completed workspace successfully balances heritage, creativity, and functionality. Visitors immediately experience a sense of our personality, while the team enjoys an inspiring, versatile environment.

This project demonstrates our philosophy: we practice what we preach, using thoughtful design, quality materials, and creative solutions to bring a brand to life in the built environment.
