Event Branding Project – MTV Bump Interactive Stand, Glasgow
Working alongside the talented team at Me, Him & Co., we created bold, large-scale artwork for an interactive MTV Bump stand positioned in the heart of Buchanan Street, Glasgow. The installation needed to command attention in a busy public space while encouraging young audiences to engage directly with the MTV brand.
MTV required a visually striking stand that would attract passers-by and encourage participation in an interactive experience. The stand allowed members of the public to create content that would later be broadcast on MTV, so strong visual impact and immediate brand recognition were essential.
The challenge was to design artwork that would wrap a large physical MTV logo and surrounding structure, creating an immersive and energetic environment reflective of MTV’s personality and appeal to a younger audience.
We worked closely with the PR and creative team at Me, Him & Co. to understand the intent behind the activation — drawing influential young viewers back to the channel through engagement and spectacle.
Our approach focused on bold, vibrant graphics that would:
- Capture attention in a busy city centre environment
- Reflect the diverse and energetic MTV brand aesthetic
- Enhance the interactive nature of the stand
- Create a memorable, photo-worthy installation that encouraged participation
Brand Space produced large-format artwork that transformed the stand into a powerful visual landmark:
- Striking MTV Bump graphics applied to a colossal physical MTV logo
- Immersive, high-impact visuals wrapping the stand structure
- Graphics designed to be seen from distance while remaining engaging up close
The result was a sensory, visually dynamic space that naturally drew visitors in and encouraged them to interact with the experience.
The MTV Bump booth became a focal point on Buchanan Street, attracting significant attention and participation throughout the activation. The bold graphics and immersive design played a crucial role in encouraging passers-by to engage with the stand and contribute content for MTV broadcast.
This project highlights how event branding and large-format environmental graphics can transform a temporary installation into an unforgettable brand experience in a public space.
